Bicton

Bicton is a beautiful residential suburb bordering the Swan River and located only 10 kilometres from Perth CBD. The suburb of Bicton was established in the 1830’s surrounding a large vineyard and is now one of the most affluent suburbs south of the river. Much of Bicton is situated on limestone base-rock and around a third of the suburb of Bicton is composed of Class-A reserve at Point Walter.

Bicton is a fantastic family orientated suburb with several playgrounds, bicycle and walking paths along the shores of the Swan River. Water sports are central to the suburb in which Bicton Pool is the base for both The Melville Water Polo Club and the Bicton Swimming Club. There are also several beaches located in the suburb including Bicton Baths and Point Walter.
